Interesting Article

This article from UK News Headlines claims books can reveal your personality. It's interesting. I can't think of a time where I saw someone reading a book and it changed my opinion of them. Mostly I'm just thrilled to see anybody reading any more. Nonetheless, I always feel a particular kinship with people who like the same books I do.

Anybody ever been surprised by a book they found someone reading? Did it alter your opinion of them?

I can't say I've been surprised by what I find someone reading. It just catches me off guard to find someone reading period. Fiction, at least. I don't think it would change my opinion of them, though, because I know that I read a wide variety of books, both Christian and secular. I must confess that I look over my shoulder when I'm in Barnes and Noble, and I'm not in the Christian section, because there are a lot of judgemental people out there. Silly, I know.

My best "run-in" was on a plane. I was reading a copy of Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul. Looked across the aisle and the guy was reading the same book. That was pretty cool. We smiled and laughed, then went back to reading. :-)
